The park will be open to the public from noon until 11:00 pm on the 4th of July.
You can bring a picnic to enjoy with your family and friends during the daylong celebration or you can purchase a large array of food and drink from one of the many concessionaires that will be open to serve you from noon to 11:30 pm.
Due to safety precautions, NO charcoal or gas/propane barbecues will be allowed on the grounds.
“Old Fashion” kids games at the 4th of July FunFest! Kids can enjoy sack races, jump ropes, watermelon eating contest, watermelon seed spiting contest, and more.
Bricks 4 Kidz, will also be at the event, offering a LEGO-based educational exhibit for kids.
There will be an inflatable Water Slide from noon to 9:00pm available to children throughout the day.
The Yakima Valley Fire Department will have an aerial truck shooting water into a play area from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Live entertainment on stage - Yakima Apple Jam2 Battle of the Bands. Radio DJ’s from Radio Yakima will be MCing the entertainment on stage.

The Beer Garden will be back in 2018 - Noon to 10:00 pm.
The National Anthem will be sung at 9:55, followed by fireworks beginning at 10:00 pm. Lilsten to the patriotic music while watching the fireworks!
In keeping with the policies of State Fair Park, only service animals will be allowed on the fairgrounds during the 4th of July event - no pets.
