The park will be open to the public from noon until 11:00 pm on the 4th of July.
You can bring a picnic to enjoy with your family and friends during the daylong celebration or you can purchase a large array of food and drink from one of the many concessionaires that will be open to serve you from noon to 11:30 pm.
Due to safety precautions, NO charcoal or gas/propane barbecues will be allowed on the grounds.
Home Depot will be organizing children’s activities - tentatively scheduled from noon to 6:00 pm. More information will be posted as the plans are finalized.
Bricks 4 Kidz, will also be at the event, offering a LEGO-based educational exhibit for kids.
There will be an inflatable Water Slide from noon to 9:00pm available to children throughout the day.
The Yakima Valley Fire Department will have an aerial truck shooting water into a play area from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Live entertainment on stage - Battle of the Bands contests. Radio DJ’s from Radio Yakima will be MCing the entertainment on stage.
The Beer Garden will be back in 2017.
The National Anthem will be sung at 9:55, followed by fireworks beginning at 10:00 pm. Lilsten to the patriotic music simulcast on 107.3 KFFM @ 10:00 pm which will be synched to the fireworks!
In keeping with the policies of State Fair Park, only service animals will be allowed on the fairgrounds during the 4th of July event - no pets.
